This fantastic Antique French brooch has been modelled in Silver and set with a magnificent rose cut Blue Tourmaline stone weighing approx. 23ct which makes up the body of the turtle and boasts a lovely blue aqua colour. The legs, tail and head of the turtle are further decorated in sparkling white Paste stones and the turtle has also been decorated with orange eyes.

Blue Tourmaline is a rarer form of Tourmaline with a soothing ocean blue colour that promotes peace and calm to the wearer.

A fabulous and interesting piece of history which comes with a secure clasp and French hallmarks. The brooch is in excellent condition and was once gilded in gold which has faded over the years.
